Wickwoods Country Park Resort & Spa - Brighton

Tucked away in the beauty of the South Downs on the edge of Brighton, Wickwoods Country Club approached OutHounds to renovate and improve their alfresco space to allow guests to dine whilst taking in the natural surrounding beauty of the country club.

With a large patio area to cover, a bespoke glulaminated timber frame would be the chosen structure to support the Ashelta retractable roofing systems. Fitted over a 13m width, three retracting roofs were fitted into separate bays to provide a coverage for the area, all with a projection of 8m. This solution would allow the business to adapt to all weather conditions which would present pleasant dining experiences throughout both the summer and winter months of the year.
